Firefox 57 is out. I switched to it completely (well, that's the idea at least).
- Don't want to give Google any more data than they already know about me. (Started using Bing recently. I still need to go )
- Firefox is a good open source citizen. They need support. Using their software is the first step
- On first look, the browser actually does feel faster.
- This new firefox uses the Rust programming language at its core. I watched some of the firefox developers talk about the use of Rust at "Rust belt rust", and I'm 'invested' in seeing Rust succeed in such a mass market endeavour.
